We made a request from the Head of primary school at Ananda College, Colombo 10, Mr. H.W. Nuwan Priyantha to collect used reading books from primary children.

Instead the children donated us with 6 big bags of new reading books, exercise books and stationery such as pens pencils ect…

An old boy, Lasantha De Silva from 1969 Ananda College Group collected the items and handed over to us.

All items were properly repacked, labeled and send to Trincomalee Railway Station .

The commanding officer at Department of Civil Security, Gomarankadawala, Lt. Col. Anuruddha Hettiarachchi offered his services to collect the items from Trincomalee railway station and volunteered to hand over the relevant parcels to the three schools.
